How do I manage a Meta ad set?

Overview of the Meta ad set page

When viewing your Meta ad set in Marvia, you'll have access to comprehensive information:

Ad set details

  • Meta ad set name

  • Conversion location: the location where conversions will be tracked

  • Schedule: the start and end dates of the ad set.

⚠️ Warning: the start and end dates are set to the campaign's run period in Marvia and may differ from the ad set run period in Meta.

  • Budget: the budget for this ad set, either managed by the campaign or the ad set individually.

  • Audience: targeting options including location and zip codes

  • Status: the current status of the ad set (e.g., active, paused, completed)

  • Edited by: last editor

  • Edited at: last edit timestamp

  • Created by: ad set creator

  • Created at: creation timestamp

Viewing Meta ad set details

  • Click on your desired Meta ad set from the list of connected ad sets

  • Review the ad set information

    • Verify ad set name, conversion location, and schedule

    • Check budget and audience targeting

    • Check the last edited information and creation details

Editing Meta ad set details

⚠️ Important: While you can view and monitor your Meta ad sets with Marvia, most actions need to be performed directly in Meta Ads Manager.

  1. Click "Open in Meta" in the top right to open your ad set directly in the Meta Ads Manager.

  2. Make necessary changes such as:

    1. Ad set settings

    2. Targeting

    3. Budget

  3. For settings that aren't editable in Marvia, we will pull the latest information from Meta when you publish your campaign

  4. For settings that are editable in Marvia (like budget), Marvia will overwrite any changes made in Meta when publishing
