What elements can I update in an existing template?

Templates may need updates over time. Template Studio allows you to edit many elements of an existing template without recreating it. 

How to edit an existing template

1. Navigate to "Template Studio" in the admin panel.

2. Select "Design templates".

3. In the overview, locate the template you want to update.

4. Select the three dots in the Actions column.

5. Select "Edit".

You can now make changes to the template configuration.

What elements can be updated in a template

You can edit the following elements in an existing template:

• Variable types

• Labels for specific languages or variables

• Placeholder texts

• Default values of variables

• Minimum or maximum character count or line limits

• Whether a field is required or optional

• Text styling options per field

• The order of variables displayed in the filter

• Select field options

  • Order of options

  • Values of options

  • Default value

  • Adding new options

  • Removing existing options

These updates allow you to keep templates aligned with your brand guidelines and evolving content needs.
