How do I set up tiles with permissions?
You can use permissions in Marvia to control which users see specific tiles on the homepage. This article explains how to set up tiles with permissions and manage who gains access.
Understanding tile permissions
Tiles can be restricted to specific user groups or locations using permissions. When you apply a permission to a tile, only users who have that permission will see and access the tile.
How to access the tiles menu element

Navigate to "pages" under "CMS" in the sidebar.

Select the page that contains the tiles menu you want to manage.

Select "Content".

Search for the tiles menu element in the content list.

Select the "Edit" button to open the tiles menu element.
How to set Permissions for a tile

Navigate to the tile you want to edit within the tiles menu.

Select the three dots "{...}".

Select "Edit".

Scroll down in the pop-up until you reach the permissions section.

Choose how you want to assign Permissions:

Groups, to control access for specific user groups

Locations, to control access based on a user's assigned location

Use the dual list to authorize the groups or locations that should see the tile.

Select "Save" to apply your changes.
⚠️ Important: If you do not select any groups or locations, the tile will be visible to all users.
