Learn how to configure Stripe as your Payment Service Provider (PSP) in your Marvia Brand Portal to collect payments for printed marketing collateral, merchandise, or localized social advertising campaigns.
Overview
Marvia connects directly to Stripe to handle online transactions during checkout in the Marketing Shop and Social Campaigns tools. Integrating Stripe allows franchisees, local store managers, and partners to pay securely using global and regional payment methods supported by Stripe (such as Credit/Debit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, and SEPA Direct Debit).
Step 1: Retrieve your API Keys and Webhook Secret from Stripe
Before configuring Marvia, retrieve your credentials from the Stripe Dashboard:
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard (dashboard.stripe.com).
API Keys:
Go to Developers → API keys.
Copy the Publishable key (
pk_live_...orpk_test_...) and Secret key (sk_live_...orsk_test_...).Toggle the Test mode switch in Stripe to get the corresponding Test vs. Live keys.
Webhook Signing Secret:
Go to Developers → Webhooks.
Add an endpoint using your Marvia webhook URL (e.g.,
https://{your-portal-domain}/api/v1/payments/stripe/webhook) and select the necessary payment events (such aspayment_intent.succeededandpayment_intent.payment_failed).Click into the created endpoint and reveal/copy the Signing secret (
whsec_...).

Marvia leverages Stripe Checkout / Elements to present available payment methods.

Select your default configuration or profile and activate the desired payment methods (e.g., Cards, Apple Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact).
Save changes in Stripe; these settings will automatically apply to payments initiated through Marvia.

pk_test_...,sk_test_...,whsec_...) are filled in.2.Place a Test Order:Validation. Go to your Marvia Marketing Shop or launch a Social Campaign, proceed to checkout, and complete a test transaction using Stripe test card numbers (e.g.,
