What are the settings for the DAM and how can it be managed

Step 1: Accessing DAM settings

  1. Navigate to the Settings area of your platform.

  2. Select the DAM section in the settings menu.

  3. Make sure the Tags tab is open to view all general configuration options.

 

Step 2: Configuring asset tagging

The Tags section controls both automated and manual tagging behavior for all assets in the DAM. You can activate or deactivate the following options:

Setting Status Description
Enabled Toggle On or Off Activates or deactivates the entire tagging system in the DAM.
AI tags Toggle On or Off Uses Artificial Intelligence to analyze uploaded assets and generate descriptive tags automatically.
AI color tags Toggle On or Off Uses Artificial Intelligence to detect and tag colors found in images.

These features increase consistency and speed during asset uploads and improve the performance of search and filtering throughout the DAM.

 

Step 3: Monitoring DAM status

The Status panel displays important administrative details about the DAM settings page. This information helps track changes and maintain accountability.

Field Description
Edited by Shows which user last modified the DAM settings.
Edited at Shows the date and time of the most recent change.
Created by Shows which user first set up the DAM settings.
Created at Shows the date when the DAM settings were originally created.

This panel gives administrators a clear overview of configuration history and helps maintain transparency.
