How do I use the Stock module in Product Settings?

Stock options and configuration

You can choose between two inventory tracking methods.

Unlimited stock

Select "Unlimited stock" to allow orders without quantity limits. This is often used for digital products, services, or items that are made to order.

Custom stock

Select "Custom stock" to enter a specific stock quantity for the product.

Inventory count
Enter the current available quantity into the main field.

Notify at stock threshold
Select this box and enter a number to trigger a low stock notification. Administrators receive an email once per week that lists all products with stock below the threshold.

Understanding the status panel

The status panel shows real time stock information.

Stock status

This displays the current stock condition.

Possible statuses include:

• OK
  Stock is above the threshold or no threshold is set.

• LOW
  Stock has dropped below the configured threshold.

• NONE
  No stock is available, or Unlimited stock is selected.

How do I configure stock settings?

1. Navigate to the Stock module
   Select "Stock" in the Modules list within the product configuration.

2. Select a stock method
   Choose "Unlimited stock" or "Custom stock".

3. Enter stock details
   If you select Custom stock, enter the current available quantity.
   Select "Notify at stock threshold" and set the alert number if needed.

4. Save the product
   Select "Save" to apply your stock settings.
