How do I use the Socials module in Product Settings?

What is the purpose of the Socials module?

The Socials module enables a share workflow so users can publish product related content to supported social networks.

Important prerequisite

A product must have at least one file available to share. This can be provided by:

Uploading a file in the Files module
Connecting an adjustable template in the Template module

Without a file, the Socials module cannot function.

How does the general Socials configuration work?

Media selection type

This required field determines how many media items the user may include in their social post.

Field	Purpose	Options & Notes
Media selection type (Required)	Defines the quantity of media items a user can select for the post.	Single: Only allow a single item to be selected. Multiple: Allow multiple items to be selected. All: Force all items to be selected and posted (e.g., for templates with multiple pages and carousel posts).
Show "Share" button	A checkbox that must be selected to enable the sharing feature.	If checked, a "Share" button will likely appear on the product page.

When enabled, a Share button becomes available on the product page, allowing the user to begin the sharing flow.

How do I configure individual social networks?

Each supported social network has its own toggle. You can enable one or multiple platforms at the same time.

Facebook	Toggle "Post to Facebook"	When enabled, users can share the product directly to their Facebook timeline or page.
Instagram	Toggle "Post to Instagram"	When enabled, users can share the product to their Instagram feed or story.
LinkedIn	Toggle "Post to LinkedIn"	When enabled, users can share the product to their professional LinkedIn network.

How do I configure the Socials module?

Ensure a file is available via the Files module or an adjustable template.
Open the Socials module from the product’s Modules list.
Select the Media selection type that fits your sharing requirements.
Select Show Share button to activate sharing.
Enable one or more social networks using their individual toggles.
Select Save to apply the configuration.
