How do I use the Requests Dashboard?

Dashboard Overview

The Requests dashboard is divided into two tabs, each displaying a different type of request:

  • Approval: Shows requests that require approval before a user can proceed, such as workflow approvals for templated documents or campaigns.

  • Creative: Displays creative asset requests initiated through a creative request workflow.

Filtering and Customizing Your View

You can use filters to focus on specific data and analyze request trends.

  1. Date range
Click the date filter in the top-right corner to select a predefined or custom date range.

    • Choose options like Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Custom range.

    • The dashboard updates automatically based on your selection.

  2. Search
Use the search bar to find specific requests by request number, user name, or keyword.

  3. Filters
Refine your data further using dropdown menus for:

    • Workflow – Filter by the type of workflow or request

    • Locations – View requests from specific branches or regions

    • Status – Track requests by stage, such as Requested, Pending Approval, or Approved

Note: You can combine multiple filters to create a focused dataset.

Viewing the Requests Report

The report table displays detailed information about each request, including:

  • Number: Unique request ID

  • User: Name of the requester

  • Product/Package: The associated product or package

  • Workflow: The workflow type

  • Created dt: The date and time the request was submitted

  • Status: The current progress of the request

Customizing columns

  1. Click “Columns” in the top-right corner of the table.

  2. Toggle columns on or off to view only relevant data.

  3. Click “Reset to default” to restore the original layout.

⚠️ Important: Customizing columns only changes your personal view, not what other users see.

Exporting Reports

You can export request data for reporting or record-keeping.

  1. Click “Export” in the top-right corner of the report page.

  2. Choose your file format.

  3. The spreadsheet will download automatically with all visible and filtered data.

Caution: If filters are applied, only the filtered results will be included in the export.

Tips for Managing Requests

  • Use Status filters to track pending approvals efficiently.

  • Export reports regularly to monitor workflow activity.

  • Review Creative requests separately to manage asset production timelines.

  • Reset filters to ensure you’re viewing the full data set before exporting.
