How do I use the Form builder module in Product Settings?

What is the purpose of the Form builder module?

The Form builder module lets you attach a form to a product so you can gather additional information from users. This is especially useful for customised items, variable content, approval processes, and any workflow where extra details are required.

 

Form builder elements and categories

When you select Add element, you can choose from a variety of fields organised by the type of information they collect.

How do I build and configure a form?

  1. Navigate to the Form builder module
    In the Modules list, select Form builder.

  2. Add form elements
    Select Add element and choose the element you want to include in the form.

  3. Configure each element

    • Label: This is the name shown to the user.

    • Advanced options: Each element has an automatically generated code to keep it unique.

    • Settings: Select Required field if the user must complete that field before ordering.

  4. Reorder or manage elements

    • Drag the element using the handles on the left to rearrange the order.

    • Use the three dot menu inside each element to duplicate or delete it.

  5. Save your form
    Select Save to attach the completed form to the product.
