Taking Action on a Request

At the bottom of the request page, you can take one of three actions:

  1. Comment
Add feedback or explanations related to your decision. Comments help maintain transparency and can be used to clarify why a request was declined or approved.

  2. Approve
Click “Approve” to move the request forward in the workflow. Use this when all details are reviewed and confirmed.

  3. Decline
Click “Decline” to reject the request. Include a comment to explain your reasoning or suggest revisions when applicable.

Note: Once approved or declined, the request status will automatically update across the dashboard.

Tips for Reviewing Requests

  • Always add a comment when declining a request for better communication.

  • Review the Approvers list to ensure all necessary users have visibility.

  • Double-check the Workflow type to confirm the request follows the correct process.

  • Monitor item statuses individually for partial approvals if applicable.
