How do I move assets and categories in the DAM?

The DAM uses categories to organize your assets. You can reorder categories to adjust the structure or move individual assets into different categories to keep your library organized and easy to navigate.

How to move categories in the DAM

You can adjust the order of categories directly in the DAM.

• Navigate to "DAM" and then "Assets".

• Locate the Category or subcategory you want to move.

• Drag and drop the Category to the desired position.

This allows you to reorganize your Category structure quickly.

How to move assets to a different category

You can move one asset or multiple assets at the same time.

• In the DAM asset overview, select one or more assets you want to update.

• Select "Actions" and then "Edit" to open the asset detail view.

• Navigate to the "Categories" section.

• Choose the new category or categories you want to assign.

• Select "Save & edit" or "Save & close" to apply your changes.
