How do I add Permissions to a Package in Marketing Shop?
Step 1: Navigate to Permissions
-
Navigate to the Package you want to configure such as Autumn Season Campaign.
-
Select "Permissions" in the left sidebar.
-
Review the Permissions panel. You will see the option to authorize specific users and locations.
Note: You can update permissions at any time without affecting the existing Package content.
Step 2: Select an authorization type
Before assigning access you must choose how permissions are controlled.
Authorization types
-
Groups
Authorize access based on predefined user groups such as Netherlands or External users. This is the easiest method for large user bases. -
Locations
Authorize access for specific physical locations if they are available in your database.
⚠️ Important: Choose the authorization type that matches how your organization manages access. You cannot combine both methods in the same Package.
Assigning groups to a Package
The permissions screen uses two columns to manage access: Available groups and Authorized groups.
Available groups
-
This column lists all groups that do not yet have access.
-
Use the search bar to find a specific group quickly.
-
Select the checkbox next to any group you want to authorize such as Netherlands, Test group, or Luxemburg.
Authorized groups
-
This column lists all groups that currently have access to the Package.
-
Move selected groups from the Available column to the Authorized column using the arrows or system controls.
-
To remove access move the group back to the Available column.
Note: If you see No data in the Authorized groups column this means no groups currently have access.
