How do I add a Tile menu to a page?

Step 1: Select the Tile menu element

  1. Navigate to "Pages" in Marvia.

  2. Select the page you want to edit.

  3. Select the "Content" tab.

  4. Click the "Tiles menu" element to add it to your page. The configuration panel will open.

Step 2: Configure the menu layout

  1. Enter an internal name for the menu block. This name helps you identify the block in the backend and is not visible to visitors.

  2. Select layout settings:

    • Set "Tiles per row" to choose how many tiles appear in each row. Typical options include 2, 3, 4, or 6.

  3. Select "Add tiles" to begin creating individual tiles.

Note: Use a clear internal name so you can easily manage multiple menus on the same page.

Step 3: Create and authorize a new tile

  1. Select the "+ Add tile" button to open the new tile window.

  2. Complete the required fields:

    Title

    • Enter the text label for the tile.

    • Toggle "Show title" on or off.

    Type

    • Select what the tile links to such as Page, External URL, No link, Product, Package, or Post.

    • Select this option if the link should open in a new browser tab.

    Media

    • Drop your media file into the upload area or select "Browse files" to add the image that appears on the tile.

    Publication date and expiration date

    • Schedule when the tile becomes visible and when it should disappear.

    Permissions

    • Select the groups or locations that are allowed to see the tile.

  3. Select "Create" to add the tile to the menu.

  4. Repeat these steps to build the complete menu.

Step 4: Finalize and test

  1. Review the order of your tiles and adjust as needed.

  2. Select "Save" to publish the Tile menu.

  3. View the page to confirm that the tiles display correctly.
