Does the portal render files in different qualities and file types?

The portal only renders template products in different qualities or file types.
These files are generated during the download process and may include options such as PDF, JPG, or different resolution outputs depending on your template settings.

Static items are not rendered into different formats. They can only be downloaded exactly as they were uploaded.
